Yes you can, after you have filled the form with your measurements we will propose to you the available costumes for your size.
Can I rent the costume online?
Yes you can rent the costume online, but we always suggest the trial in our Atelier because, in case of wrong size, Atelier Flavia won’t be responsible.
Can I book the costume well in advance?
Yes you can, after you have chosen the costume, it will be considered as booked only after the confirmation of the down payment or the entire amount.
How much does it cost to hire a costume?
The costume rental price varies according to the period and the costume itself. The rental can be hourly or daily. During the Venice Carnival period (high season) the rental will only be daily. We suggest you to contact us for a quote.
Can I rent the costume outside Venice?
No you can’t. By now it’s impossible to rent our costumes outside Venice city center. For further information or requests you can contact us.
How are the masks made?
Our masks are entirely handmade according to the Mascareri Veneziani tradition, using non-harmful materials in contact with the skin: papier-mache, tempera, gold lief, precious fabrics, passementerie, macramé, lace and pearls.
Is every mask a unique piece?
Yes it is! Every mask is a unique and exclusive handmade piece, therefore some features such as decorations, colors and shapes can vary between them and from the images present on the site.
Can I rent a mask?
No! The masks are in contact with the skin and, not being able to wash them, it is not hygienic to have them worn by other people.
Can I buy a custom mask?
Yes you can! We can customize the mask only if we have the material available. However, if it is implemented, it will not be ready immediately.
