Children's clothing of the upper classes was extremely rich and strictly imitating the parents' ones. The magnificient costume's evolution was over the top: clothes became a status-symbol. Young princes were dressed to show other people what they would have become in the future.
Baby-Girl
Baby-girls' dresses were composed by a body, which was trimmed with precious stones and embroidery; the sleeves and the neckline were equiped with very delicate lace.They hold the fan, lace or satin made, or simply colored paper. The hair-styles were made precious by feather and ribbons.

Baby-Boy
Prince's sons wore clothes made of real cloth, half cloth and silk. For the special events baby-boys started wearing the regular Eton's costume, which was an aristocratic English College: long trousers and short coat.
