Who does not love the wine, the woman and the song, will be a crazy all his life.
M. Lutero
Lady 1700s
After the eighteenth century the innovation for women's fashion was the farthingale, a kind of cage with metal semicircles, to keep on the waist under the skilt to enlarge it on the sides. The corset was always decorated with ribbons and laces, with a bow in the middle of the wide neck-opening. The petticoat was in a different colour, but obviously with ribbons, and laces. At the end hair-styles were very important too, very carefully prepared on powdered hair.

Gentleman 1700s
If male hair-styles were very simple, in fact some curls were collected on the nape in a small black silky bag, on the other hand they competed with ladies.Their clothes were made of the waistcoat, trousers and overcoat. The waistcoat became a luxury cloth, embroidered with small flowers, animals or symbols. Moreover it was decorated with many golden or silver buttons. It was long up to half leg, with side pockets and short sleeves. The shirt's collar was tied in a knot as a scarf. The trousers were up to the knee where they joined silk socks. The overcoat stuck to the waist and then it became wide on the sides, with a back vent.
